Terrific tour of Peurto Plata!

We had a great day exploring Puerto Plata! Julio was a professional and knowledgeable guide that really helped us understand the history of the DR and Fabio was the driver extraordinaire. We really enjoyed the Amber Museum and the Macorix rum factory tour. Lunch was delicious (much better than the resort food!).
Highly recommend this tour but particularly Julio as he made the day!
Amazing City Tour with Julio and Fabio!

Julio and Fabio took myself, my wife, and my three friends on this adventure. We all had a fantastic time and learned alot! Would highly recommend this trip. The tours of the rum factory, chocolate factory, and amber museum were awesome, and the tour of the shops and short walk around the city, including the stop at the beautiful church, umbrella street, and Pink street were so much fun. Throw in the cable car ride and amazing scenic views from the mountain and this trip cant be beat! Oh, almost forgot, the home cooked meal was absolutely delicious! Thank you Julio and Fabio (and the cooks!) for an amazing day!

Great Learning Experience about the Dominican Republic

This was a n excellent trip. The guide Julio was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the Island. He encouraged us to ask any questions that we might have about the Island and its people. There was a lot packed into this trip. The driver Fabio encouraged use to keep hydrated and handed out water freely. We enjoyed every stop and learned a lot about the island. Everything was timed perfectly however we would have liked at little more time at the one souvenir shop. We did not have time to purchase anything as we were hurried out of the store. Another 10 minutes would have been great but we did understand this was to keep us on schedule. All in all I would recommend this excursion.

We saw a ton of things on the tour. However, it was poorly facilitated for the time explained. We backtracked on road 3-4 times instead of cohorting activities in the same location. The city is safe and clean and I would recommend just taking a taxi into town and walking it yourself.
